After a very challenging year, Meadows Manor North is happy to announce after 54 weeks of closing our doors to families and visitors our doors are now open! We are allowing visitors back into our facility beginning on Monday March 22, 2021.
Over the past year our staff and residents have had a lot of changes due to the health crisis. We accepted this challenge and continued to offer compassionate care and support for our residents. The staff enjoyed some of the new activities including bingo over the loud speaker, morning exercise in the hallways, a daily dance party and karaoke.
These changes were especially difficult on our families as everyone had to adjust to new ways of visiting. We offered window visits as well as Skype to help our residents stay connected with their loved ones.
To quote a resident as she spoke to her daughter “Don’t worry about me. They are taking good care of me…I love you and stay safe out there!”
We are so grateful for everyone’s continued support and understanding throughout this past year and hopeful for a bright future.
Although this is an exciting time, we still have restrictions on visits. Visitors will be required to call and make an appointment to visit as we have limited visiting areas and times.
We can’t wait to see our families back in the facility and if the resident has been vaccinated, families will be able to HUG their loved ones.
Please contact us for details and to schedule an appointment to visit.
